A year has passed since the April 15 war. It was a year filled with human rights violations, and the war caused millions of civilians to be displaced and seek refuge both inside and outside Sudan under tragic and difficult living conditions. This war also spread hate speech and divisions among Sudanese people. In the past periods, there was a severe shortage of food and medicine for the citizens in the cities and the displacement camps. Children suffered from hunger and deadly diseases. A whole year has passed since the war, and we now stand to see a huge mountain of tragedies and injustices behind us.
Despite this, there are still many opportunities that young people and civil society can take advantage of to unite Sudan, reduce the effects of the war, expose its rhetoric, neutralize the tools of youth recruitment into the conflict, and build minimal networks to help civilians and stand against hate speech.
